Final Major Project
Levi's Flagship Store
This proposal for a Levi's flagship store integrates a denim factory with a Levi's flagship store. The idea encompassed sustainable production processes which reduces waste water and uses food waste to produce fibres to create denim. In addition a tailor shop encourages customers to tailor, repair or personalise their clothing to extend the lifespan of the product. The design uses encompasses architectural intervention to fully integrate the machinery into the existing building to make it work together as one.
Orange Fibre sourced from the local community which can be woven into the denim to make the fabric for production
Fabric gets cut and sewn into garments to be sold on the shop floor
Used Garments can be returned and repaired to be re-sold as one off pieces within the shop.
